clear food wrapping bags on roll

Featured Replies

Hi everyone,

I'm looking for something to buy which is used in virtually every supermarkethere in Thailand: clear food wrapping bags on a roll. Makro in Surin has only one size which is 12" x 18". The smaller one shown in the picture I probably bought at Makro in Pattaya at the time I still lived there. I also looked on Lazada, but I can find only vaccum bags on a roll, vacuum bags, and more vacuum bags! My eyes hurt from scouring the web. Does anyone know where I could possibly buy them?

Yesterday I went shopping at Makro in Surin, went to the place where they sell the bags on roll and saw that there were two price tags undernetah: one for 10" x 15" and one 15" x 18", but as usual, there were no small ones. I then talked to the assistent of the store manager and he confirmed that next week Saturday there would be rolls 10" x 15" available.

might wanna use Baggies or Glad Bags for smaller parcels...

what's the trick to opening those bags onna roll at the supermarket? I usually give up and simply dump the vegetables next to the attendant and let them sort it...

and the attendant looks at the mess and thinks: 'these falangs are such foolish creatures...'

Yeah, I can relate to that. That's what my wife always does when she takes one of those bags: she passes it on to me to open ...
