Samsung S8+ screen replacement

My few months old S8+ has what looks like a scratch or maybe a crack. I am not sure how this happened. It was fine new so I guess impact after. It works fine though.

 

Questions: Would warranty cover what evidently was accidental damage? If not what's the cost? Where to go get it fixed?

Warranty covers faulty product. Most IT Centres in Thailand will have at least one shop who can organise a replacement.

You can review the terms and conditions of your warranty, there should be a document detailing that, which came with your phone.

 

Most warranties do not cover "wear and tear", or "accidental damage". There are some "buyer protection" plans which do cover this sort of thing, and also have options for an extended warranty. Sometimes these are "free", say when purchasing with a specific credit card, or you pay extra for 1 -3 years coverage.

 

Samsung Thailand has warranty service/repair centers in many locations.
