On the 13th, what does actualy mean? Will the closure of entertainment venues be closed from Thursday night until Friday morning but reopen on Friday late evening meaning Saturday at 12am in the morning?

Nobody knows for sure. Just be prepared.

Could be midnight on 12th 'till 11am on the 14th.

It means what it says. There is no closure order, although some places may choose to close out of respect. Others will stay open with subdued lighting and music, as per the official order. Exactly as happened a year ago.

Looks like I was being overly optimistic - reports coming in that soi Cowboy has been ordered to close completely for the funeral (3 days). I guess we'll find out soon if this is local, city-wide or national.

i know of one bar in soi cowboy that will be closed the 25th,26th and 27th.

i would assume all the bars will be closed.

went to cowboy last night and all the big signs were turned off.

Yes. As my post above yours says, Cowboy has been ordered to close completely for the three days of the funeral. The restrictions on lighting and music are already in place nationwide.
