Video: Thief in a cardboard "hat" unmasked!

A thief who stole a pick-up parked outside a trader's house in Chonburi was shown wearing a fruit box as a disguise.

But a clear image of the man's face was still obtained.

It took the thief the best part of an hour to steal the six year old Toyota Vigo.

Owner Chaiyaporn Laopiwphan had fitted CCTV outside his house in Nong Yai district fearing something like this might happen.

The incident happened sometime after 1 am on Wednesday morning.

Chaiyaporn told Thai Rath that he suspected that more than one person was involved as a car was filmed bringing the thief to the area of his house before leaving.

The CCTV footage appeared on the Facebook page of Alongkorn Payakburapha.

Jeez .. This dude should not pursue a career in car thiefery .. Bit conspicuous walking around with a cardboard box on their head ..

Not much of a thief... could have removed the window (or smashed it) and hotwired six cars while he is still trying to remove the lock of the Vigo!!

If this was my home town in the UK it would be gone in 30 seconds.

Fruit box... fruit cake... same same but different...

This is such a sad story because this guy was doing okay before Redfoo disbanded LMFAO.
