Crown Prince of Norway plans official visit to Thailand

BANGKOK, 13th October 2017 (NNT) - The Crown Prince of Norway is planning an official visit to Thailand for the royal funeral of His Majesty the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej. 

The Royal House of Norway has announced on its website that His Royal Highness Crown Prince Haakon will soon be traveling to Thailand. 

According to the official announcement, Prince Haakon will represent Their Majesties King Harald V and Queen Sonja at the royal funeral of His Majesty the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej on October 26. 

Meanwhile, the Governor-General of Australia, Sir Peter Cosgrove along with Lady Cosgrove will also be visiting Thailand between October 25 and 27 during which time they will represent Australia at the royal funeral.
