Vietjet links Ho Chi Minh City to Phuket and Chang Mai

Vietjet has begun selling tickets for two new routes, linking Ho Chi Minh City to the Thai tourist destinations of Phuket and Chiang Mai.

 

To celebrate the launch of the new routes, Vietjet is offering 180,000 promotional tickets priced from only 0 dong (Bt0), excluding taxes and fees, from October 25-27th at the “golden hours” from between midday and 2pm.

 

Promotional tickets will be applied for all international routes to Phuket, Chiang Mai and Bangkok; Seoul and Busan in South Korea; Hong Kong; Kaoshiung, Taipei, Taichung and Tainan (Taiwan); Singapore; Kuala Lumpur; Yangon; and Siem Reap and Phnom Penh in Cambodia. Flights must be taken between November 1, 2017 and May 31, 2018 (excluding national holidays).

 

The Ho Chi Minh City-Chiang Mai route will operate from December 12, and Ho Chi Minh City-Phuket route will operate from December 15.

 

On the HCM-Phuket route, Vietjet will operate a return flight every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday from December 15, with eachleg taking around two hours. The flight will depart HCM at 10.15am and arrive in Phuket at 12.10pm. The return flight takes off at 1.05pm in Phuket and lands in HCM at 3.10pm.

 

On the HCM-Chiang Mai route, Vietjet will operate a return flight every Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday from December 12. The flight will depart HCM at 11.35am and arrive in Chiang Mai at 1.30pm. The return flight takes off at 2.20pm in Chiang Mai and lands in HCM at 4.25pm.

 

With the opening of the two new routes, Vietjet is now operating six routes to Thailand.

Very happy to see more direct flights from Chiang Mai and avoid the ridiculous Bangkok transfers. 

 

Found return fares for fares 101 B & 156 B! The charges were 2,700 B altogether. Total return price 2,914 B. Still pretty good but not as exciting for customers as the promo leads you to believe.

What a shitty airline. Never on time. I was abandoned on the air side, when their plane broke down, with no effort to help ticket holders. Not worth the few baht less.
