No move yet to lift political ban

No move yet to lift political ban

By The Nation

The National Council for Peace and Order has not yet convened to consider lifting the ban on political activities, said Deputy Prime Minister General Prawit Wongsuwan on Monday, adding that the issue is not on the Cabinet’s agenda for Tuesday either.

The Deputy PM said the Royal Cremation ceremony has just finished, and it was not the time to discuss the issue.

The government would consider past actions and cooperation it had received from all concerned before taking further action in regard to lifting the political ban, he said, referring to some “disturbing moves” by some parties.

Speculation that the ban would be lifted on November 1 was not confirmed, Prawit said.

I know an issue regarding this person worth of discussion...

lifting the ban is in a lay-by on the road map - somewhere.

The issue can be discussed after Prayut's coronation

I don't think that he is to receive a coronation.

There is, however, another very important post which I suspect he is on course to inherit. Quite when, well we cannot be privy to that of course. I rather imagine that "things" may continue on hold until that happens. It is a position which will open the doors to many prospects, (some of which were explored in the third series of "Blackadder").

Yet, the NCPO issued an order during the Royal Cremation Ceremony to revoke city planning in the Eastern Economic Corridor. https://www.thaivisa.com/forum/topic/1008926-critics-slam-ncpo-order-suspending-city-planning/?utm_source=newsletter-20171030-0702&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=news

Making money - nothing gets in the way

I guess time is not an issue, anyway.

It will be discussed after they make sure the opposition has no more power to mount a decent alternative to the present gov( dictator ship)
