The Royal Thai Consulate in Hull is once again able to issue visas after being forced to temporarily suspend the processing of new visa applications due to what has been described as a "severe shortage" of visa stickers.

Earlier this week a notice was posted at the Consulate and online that read "the Hull Consulate is temporarily closed for the issuing of visas".

"Our supply of visa stickers has been exhausted and the London Embassy is unable to provide any more due a severe shortage".

A notice was also posted on the Consulate's website which read: "Please note that we are temporarily unable to offer visas and will update our website once this situation is resolved and service can be resumed".

However, the Consulate has said it is once again able to offer a normal visa service between Monday and Friday.

To deal with a backlog in visa applications the Consulate will be open between Saturday 4 November between 9am and 12.00 noon and appointments are not necessary. We are otherwise not open on Saturdays, read a notice on the website

So what did he use instead? An ink stamp?

"He" used nothing.
Per the article they stopped issuing them until a new supply was gotten.
