Yes, I had my Yingluck stolen from me. What can we do to get her back?

Sent from my iPhone using Thaivisa Connect

Specific area 10,000 baht

Domestic 50,000 baht

International (inbound) 100,000 baht

International (outbound) 200,000 baht

When we applied, we were told if we operated a website in English that foreigners could conceivably see from overseas, and our guests were inbound foreigners the deposit was 100,000 THB with a government fee of 300 baht.  No website but selling from a shop 50,000 baht, same 300 baht fee.

Most tour  operators only have the 10,000 baht licence which is illegal to handle foreigners.

You should have had her microchipped...

Well that is just on "paper " no tourist know and can read

and if you file a form you sure can wait up to the end of the universe to get anything!!!!!!!!!!!!

So better spend your time on anything else instead filling out one of these hundreds of stupid forms this country offers!!!!!!!!!

Any chance of this scheme being extended to victims (myself included) of Thai's breaking the law when driving and causing life long injuries?

Sorry, but scams, get real, anyone from the the UK to Ukraine, Basildon to Brasil, and beyond knows the WORLD IS  full of Scams, from low level street find the lady on Las Ramblas to no end of National Government "schemes".

From the above mentioned web site.

The web site has little English and no other non-Thai languages I could see, so the Chinese and Russians might have a challenge. They might also want to update the list of certified companies.

Strange, I clicked the link and the option is there to have the whole website in English?

In the light of the recent deaths of 4 Japanese tourists in yet another van pile-up, will the families and dependents of foreign tourists killed on Thai roads, through no fault of their own, be able to claim for realistic compensation, too?

Don’t think it was a scam.

Insurance is available to cover incidents like this - and in the event of the incident being caused illegally, there is legal recourse.
