RRecommendations for internet/phone service provider

Featured Replies

I need to find a company to provide internet service and mobile phone service for me.  I know of AIS and True.  Could anyone recommend either of these two or another company?  I’m especially concerned about receiving a lot of unwanted SMS advertising that the company may charge for. Thanks.

3BB by far the best when it comes to service, True is ok for the mobile phone service it provides. Good luck

for mobile phone services, AIS hands down. i managed to stop the SMS advertising with s single 2-minute call. never received unwanted SMS from AIS ever again. i'd recommend Truemove and DTAC to people i don't like. they're not customer-friendly as per my experience. english proficiency is also lower than AIS.

as for internet, i've heard good things about AIS fiber. i've used 3BB (before they made it big; they didn't even have a website some 5 years back), True, and TOT. avoid TOT like the plague. i had some bad experiences from True as well. i think 3BB have leveled up their game and is now a serious provider. also, expect a lot of perks and/or discounts if you go AIS all the way.

We got 3BB three months ago for our WiFi service, which comes via the '4G' or whatever speed service. It sucks and I find myself having to use my AIS telephone as a tethered mobile hotspot 30% of the time. I don't remember which 2-3 companies got the actual license for 4G, should be easy enough to find out, but that's who I'd be using. (I don't manage this as my wife seems to feel this is her area of responsibility. You know, her house and all (which I paid for mind you)).

3BB does seem to have the "Brussels sprouts syndrome", you either love them or hate them!  I have 3BB fibre which I've found to be very steady and the speed never drops below 120 mbps with an upload of around 60 mbps.

I guess it's better in some areas and not in others.

Thanks for the tips.

I was once a 3BB customer and got neither customer service nor internet that ever really worked, but that was years ago. True..... not great, especially when it comes to English communication. AIS are now my provider and have no complaints so far

We moved into a place that had TOT. They were terrible so we quickly replaced them with 3BB. Decent service.

We're now somewhere new and have got True fibre optic. I'm not very happy with the performance so can't recommend them.

I'd go with AIS as I've heard good things about them.

I agree. Been using 3BB since 2009 and have found both their product and service to be nothing short of exceptional and wish that all other bodies I have to deal with were as good.
