Netflix on TCL tv

Hi,

 

I have just purchased a TCL smart tv, that has Android and allows you to log into google app store, but for some reason when searching for the Netflix app it doesn't seem to be there.

 

It's funny became I can use Neflix on my other devices but for some reason it's not there on my TCL tv.....has anyone had experience with this?

No experience with a TCL telly, but, assuming you have your TV registered to the same Google account as your other devices, you should be able to trigger the download to the TV from one of them.

The app is available direct from Netflix. You will need to look at Netflix support an read the download procedure for Android.

Download apk from their Netflix website and then try to side-load it?

What version of Android does your tv use?

One thing I would like to point out is when you access Netflix through the app, it identifies your actual geographical location and will limit you to regional content only. The app will restrict you from viewing the US content. I stream Netflix US content thru my laptop to my tv using a proxy.
