Governors instructed to take people’s answers to PM’s six questions

Interior Minister Chatchai Phromlert has sent an urgent message to all provincial governors, telling them to order the Damrongtham centres to invite people in their areas of responsibility to reply to the six questions raised by Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha.

In the message, all Damrongtham centres, both in the provincial and district levels, are to invite the people to show up at their offices between 8.30am-4.30pm, starting from Monday, Nov 13, to reply to the prime minister’s questions by filling up a questionnaire.

The people can also write their opinions in the questionaire.

I guess it would be too easy to have an on-line questionnaire, then capture and analyze the responses?

Thais do love their bits of paper.

I'm guessing the CCTV at the offices will be enough to capture the image of who gives a bad response as opposed to tracking your PC ID.

If he lifts the ban on political rallies, he could get far more answers than he bargained for.

Were they also instructed to supply the name on the response ?

Guess the name 'A. Nonymous' will not be accepted, will it? Knowing that common Thais are, with evident reasons, fearfull of every contact with any kind of 'authority', I have no doubt a North-Korean percentage of answers in favour of the 'great General''s expectations will be the outcome... The more so the EEC (is there presently any such?), or a more credible controling instance, will not be asked to check the validity of this twisted organised plebiscite. But, worst of all, what I am afraid of, is that the man will, in his delusion, believe this is what the Thais think and want... Sigh!

Posing convoluted questions to an audience bound by limited freedom of speech is a complete and utter waste of everybody's time.

Buying time feigning on the Country's situation.

It never stops getting more boring.

What an enormous waste of time and resources.  But then if you waste the taxpayers' money to deploy security forces to count twerks, it's not too surprising. This batch of questions are even more ludicrous than the first batch.  The public should be urged to ask the "PM" questions, not the other way round.
