Remains dug up in Phetchaburi confirmed as body of murdered teenage maid

Police have received results from forensic DNA testing of a skeleton exhumed from a private property in Phetchaburi province and confirmed that the body is that of Jariya “Nam” Srisak, a 16-year-old maid allegedly beaten to death by her boss, wannabe former beauty queen Krisana Suwanphithak, 45, five years ago.

 

The test results were revealed Friday by Pol. Lt. Gen. Dr. Withoon Nitiwarangkura, chief medical officer for the police’s Institute of Forensic Science (IFS), reported Bangkok Post.

 

The body was found on the property of Krisana’s mother. The suspect, who confessed to beating the victim with a can of air freshener causing injuries that led to her death the following day, later recanted her confession and is out on bail after being arrested last week. Police continue to investigate and interview witnesses in the case.

Out on bail on a murder charge ? Preposterous !!

should never have been allowed out on bail, threats issued the the mother of the dead girl after her release and the police do bugger all, typical Thailand,  bail for murderers but not for poor people doing minor things like picking mushrooms
