Penang Non-O ( Thai Child ) requirements ?

Hello, I wanting to obtain the visa as being parent of Thai kid in Penang.

 

Do the copy of the birth certificate Thai is enough ? with the copy of the tabian baan to obtain the visa ?

 

Do need to show the original to them or not ?

 

Do someone know if got previously a single non O entry based on Thai kid not in Penang, then after who get for the first time a Non-Multi Entry O in Penang, even without previous non O there.

A short time ago you posted about "a completely foreign kid".

Now you're posting about a visa based on a Thai kid.

(being born in Thailand with no Thai parent doesn't give the kid any Thai rights).

I have recently returned from Penang with the same visa that you are asking about.

 

Answers to your questions:

 

1. A copy of birth certificate is all that was needed.

2. A copy of tabien baan of mother and the child was needed.

 

No originals needed. They only need the original bank-book if applying for the multiple entry "O" visa.

 

This was my first non "O" multiple entry from Penang, had single non "O" visas from Laos, and had no problems getting the visa.

Yes, I understand.

I had a previously a kid with a Thai woman and the kid living with me, and actually I am in relationship with a Filipina, she gonna give birth soon.

 

Thai mother disappears.

 

and I don't like stay long in Philippines, feel unsafe, and not comfortable, I prefer Thailand even my GF

What financial proof did they require for a multiple Non O with Thai child now?

Hi ,

 

Yes, used an agent. Go to Chulia street in George town to a guesthouse called Jim's place. Anyone there can help even if Jim's not there.

 

@BritTim: the financial proof is 400k for the multiple "O"
