B visa from Hong Kong

Is it possible to apply for a non imm B visa (employment) in Hong Kong as a non resident? I plan to enter Hong Kong visa exempt on my UK passport. 

 

Invitation letter and WP3 approval will be provided by my soon to be employer.

See http://www.thai-consulate.org.hk/web/3015.php?s=4262.(a slow, but otherwise OK website). They can issue Non B visas to non Hong Kong residents. Based on my experience there with other visa types, I would guess it will be smooth sailing. However, I have never applied for a Non B from Hong Kong, so it would be good if you can get confirmation from someone who has.

Thanks for your feedback. I obtained the Non B from Hong Kong, no problem. Processed within 24 hours - brilliant!

 

Tips for anyone going there: remember to take a photocopy of the chit you get from immigration on arrival and it's a good idea to take the correct change for the payment.
