Apologies for the poor quality of picture but any ideas on the type of snake? It looked a little browner than this picture in person. Never saw a hood. When the cat approached it, it turned around and crawled up between the buildings. It's in the city in Ubon Ratchathani but only about 30m from a small pond and forest. I didn't see anything that quite matched it at https://www.thailandsnakes.com/.
