January 14, 200719 yr Hiya all just got a new gen Ipod and put music on.... however it is not filed very well. I want to file the music better than it has been. It gave me an option when I first installed the software and I did not take it, however I would like to now! I have 130gb so its a nightmare if it is not filed well. Also I can get sound on my home movies from my digi cam on it, but no sound on movies I have downloaded or taken from discs? Anyone know why that would be? I have already converted them in ipod as well? Thanks for any replies Edited January 14, 200719 yr by lopburiguy
January 14, 200719 yr Well, you could reset the unit and start over. Have a look at the Apple 5 R's page The easiest way to organize your music- once it's all loaded into your main iTunes Music Folder- is via grouping it into playlists. Since you have 130Gb of music and a maximum iPod capacity of 80Gb's you will then select those playlists you're interested in moving to the iPod. IPodLounge has a lots of informative tutorials. Here is one: Copying music from iPod to computer
