Deserted Posted December 1, 2017 Share Posted December 1, 2017 I can't seem to quite measure the distance from the centre of Chiang Mai to the temple on Doi Suthep. From the edge of town it says 18kms. It's so long since I went up it that I can't be sure and always remember it as being more than that. Has anyone cycled up it to the temple? I'd imagine its 2 hours work at least. Often, 10.6Km from the zoo to the temple steps in 50 minutes on my road bike. Or around 60 minutes from the Huay Keow corner of the moat. el jefe Posted December 2, 2017 Share Posted December 2, 2017 The fastest time for the 10.7 km climb is 25:27. According to Strava there have been 64,520 recorded climbs for the full 10.7 kms. Most days, over 200 riders a day do the climb. Here's a link.
