The Royal Thai Police will soon seek warrants from the court to arrest 2-3 people who they have information linking them to the arms cache seized early this week in Bang Nam Priao district of Chachoengsao province.

Deputy commissioner of the Royal Thai Police Pol Gen Srivara Ransibrahmanakul said on Friday (Dec 1) that the police now know who owned the arms cache and warrants would be sought to arrest them next week.

He didn’t identify the suspects but said they were linked with violent incidents during the 2014 political unrest.

Yes but when they get the warrants issued they can then send an sms to the suspects and ask them to pop back for a quick chat whenever convenient.

Oh ye of little faith!

In another Bangkok Paper that we cannot mention, Prayut was quoted as saying 'the weapons were recently left and they remain functional.'

All the pictures I have seen show corroded and damaged equipment. Perhaps one of the TV members here who actually knows about this sort of stuff could comment. To me they look as functional as a pile of scrap.

WOW!!!! As soon as next week!

THIS one must be a TOP Priority, eh???

Do you reckon that since they wont be able to nab Koh Tee they will choose the suspects' names out of a hat or the phone book?  So, let me get this straight, anti-coup elements want to conduct an attack on the capital because elections are reportedly on track for next year? So, as a result of someone wanting to sabotage the elections and delay them, the junta is going to continue to delay them by not lifting the ban? Obviously, with the exception of the ban on Prayuth who is free to travel the country with his pet frog and shout at people at press conferences? Could this make any less sense, even if you were on LSD?

looks like a pile of old junk to me
