Now for some time I do not receive notifications via email anymore although I have enabled all options. I get messages from "Thaivisa.com News Editor", but if someone posts on a topic I opened I get nothing. etc. Same experience anybody ? ANd if yes could you correct that ? My indicated email adress in my account is correct.

I assume you have gone to this page to do the settings. https://www.thaivisa.com/forum/notifications/options/

I have some forums I follow set to send me an email on a daily basis when a new topic is posted and have been getting the email.

Thanks Ubonjoe. The "show popup window when I receive a new personal message" was not on. But  I wonder if this would make a difference. Apart from that all options under "general" are switched on. I use the BItdefender Antspam Toolbar as Addon but this shdould not prevent anything - at the worst show some messages as Spam, but I get not even that.

Whitelist Thaivisa on your antispam add-on and see if this helps.
