What likely happened....

 

25 year old man went out drinking and gambling. Lost a bit of money, so tried to whore his mother out, won a bit back so just needed photos of his Mum's whoopsy, ended up shelling out 500B in the morning to save his mother's situation he created, returned home looking shaken hoping not to have to talk to anybody.

 

Sister posted the 'story' online.

This is not a New thing , it happened to my wife ,When she was younger, her brother was a tearaway not bad just a boy being a boy, The police stopped him and a friend on a motorbike, the police officer arrested my wife's brother,  When She found out she went to the police station,  Her father had died a few years earlier, As she was the older she assumed responsibility. When she spoke to the arresting office ,He said that her brother had Yabba on him ,  She told the police her brother never ever got involved with drugs, the police officer said if she would have sex with him he would let him go immediately, She Phoned her boss and gave the phone to the Police officer, It was her Commander.  She was a Small arms instructor for The Bangkok police needless to say her brother was released , Lucky My now wife had connections, but many poor thai people do not, they do time for the Crime they never committed, I have posted of this incident on Thai visa  along while ago,

Not surprised at this revelation.  Dirty cops planted YABA in my wife's truck and she has now been in the monkey house for two months awaiting appearance in front of the judge, which could net her 3 years time.  This is rampant with dirty cops setting up poor people. Of course, we know who the dirty magistrate is going to side with don't we?   And it does not matter that they know how much money I make each month, I am powerless to pay a bribe to get my wife out. If my wife would leave Thailand that would be the sound of our departure jet you would be hearing. My dream retirement is now a nightmare.

I appreciate your kind comment. They do urinalysis and YABA shows up blue. My wife is clean but still in prison. Same thing happened to my stepson 5 years ago and to the youngest one last year. Urine clear as water but do not pass go and collect $200.00. Instead, go directly to monkey house .  Sad for all poor Thai victims of the sorry BIB.

such attitude can have dangerous and destructive consequences for the image of a country and the culprits deserve to be sacked and jailed to set an exemple for others...

Perhaps they were not real cops, which would explain one army and one cop. The only 2 uniforms available perhaps?

Even when I feel very sorry for you, there are some points, where I'd like to give my five baht to. You wrote that your wife is innocent in prison,  and I can only imagine how I'd feel if that would be my wife.

 

   Please excuse my ignorance, but how come that the same thing happened to your stepson and to the youngest one a year ago and all are innocent?. And that with the military regime in power? Something doesn't add up here. 

 

   Would "dirty cops" arrange that and there's enough proof that all involved were never drug dealers or users, it would be the strangest crime on earth for me and I'd go from Pontius to Pilatus to fight for their rights. 

 

   "Bigfarang", you're making heavy accusations here and I hope that you can back this up. I'm living here more than 15 years, and I've never ever even heard of a similar case. And we've got quite a lot drugs in our area. 

 

 I'm sorry, but I don't buy the story you've presented. Three innocent people from one family in a time frame of five years sounds a bit strange to me. Even when Thai cops are different, I don't believe that they'd arrest three innocent people from the same family without a reason.
