I can think of one lady who went missing lately who could buy the watch and ring from her pocket money as a thank you gift.  Of course it could have been a grateful brother too.

Ironically, the name of the chairman of the watchdog committee investigating his watch is actually Watch (Watcharaphol). Couldn't make it up...
