webfact Posted December 7, 2017 Share Posted December 7, 2017 Illegal loggers arrested after park ranger jumps on fleeing car Sanook released a video of an operation mounted by heavily armed "Tiger Rangers" from the Thap Lan National Park in Korat. The Rangers were in an area of Buri Ram following up on reports that illegal loggers were hiding out there. At one point in the video ranger Chalerm Pitklang can be seen launching himself onto the windshield of a fleeing Mazda car. He is thrown off but suffered only minor injuries. Later in the video recorded Tuesday the rangers successfully arrest two men named as Somchai, 42 and Worawut, 24. They were found with a quantity of Siamese rosewood logs in a pick-up. It seemed to me that the windshield must have been doctored to allow the Russkie to jump into the car and point a gun. You may ask yourself what they learn in police school (if there is one).
