how in the hell  was i nominated, did,nt know til a few mins ago on the footy forum, pick up a few donky votes Dave 2 is past the winning post,wonder if one of the donkey votes was NancyL one (LOL) be nice to see the old champ run second to Dave2  which would be a Chiangmai Forum quinella ,anyway who ever nominated me, many thks  come on my  detractors and fans give Even Stevens a kick in the flanks to run second to Dave2 a very nice  Giddyup evening to all

thks C/mai members for the nice kick in the flanks, now in second place,but only by a 1/2 length, now need a a couple of more cracks of the whip to make it a C/MAI  quinella with Dave2 , Giddy up Stamsy and Sheepshagger and Freckles and Masuk  and  other C/Mai members,  get that whip out and give it a good crack,as E/S is needs it as i,am feeling the extra lead in the saddle with the winning post in sight a crack crack lovely morning to all

I have just realised that I only posted on the main POTY pages not to vote for me. 

There are a number of reasons why I should get NO votes. 

1.  Dave2 has to be pushed to the front

2.  I want Nil Points so I can get the wooden spoon as I am accused by certain posters who disagree with me that I am "always stirring it" - YOU know who you are.

3. to infinity -  fill in your own reason NOT to vote for me!

 

PS;  I am just making post on this subject just to keep dave2 at the top of this forum postings and in your faces!

dave2 is currently at 44.6%.  DON'T slack off now.  Vote dave2

Please be aware that if you go to the POTY voting site and look for the results so far you are counted as voting.  This  is a quote from the POTY 2 site. (I am sorry but I don't know how to do a direct quote from one forum to another)

 

"Don't hit "show results" if you want to vote.

AND you cannot change your vote once it's cast, I believe that was a "bug" that is now fixed.!

 

Come on CM Forum  lets keep dave2 in focus and help him win.

God StoneTheCrows ,received some votes to move into equal second place again ,Dave2  is still leading a merry dance

its been a nightmare  of  a race ,my hoop dropped his whip, rode me into a dead end ,have been overtaken by all  and sundry but got the courage of a Chamnpion to fight back to equal second place ,now lo and behold my saddle is shifting and one of my stirrups is breaking up, in dire straights!!!!need more votes for a Chaingmai Quinella come on Chiangmai Members one of your votes for theOldChamp isdesparately needed now,please do so as i have tried my heart out representing theChiangmai Forum ,come on members do it

I believe this is only the preliminary and that there will be another deciding vote after this?

 

If that is the case Dave2 is going to be in the finals and there will be another chance to vote solely for Dave2 to represent the Chiangmai forum and get that title.

You may do as you wish, it;s a sort of free world we live in.

 

I did not know Dave2, just enjoyed his posts and thought my nomination was appropriate, although does appear to have upset some of the living.

 

No doubt later posthumous awards will not be allowed so no need for anyone to take drastic action to have a chance in the coming years.

I did notice that total votes for both polls is only just over 200? A membership of over 100K (Not all active of course) on TV, but the polls are not exactly representative of the membership.

Not sure what that means apart from perhaps apathy on the most part?

I hope the majority are keeping their powder dry as their favourite(s) is clearly in the final list.

The next vote is the big one assuming dave2 gets thru this round then ALL of CM posters and I hope others come on line in their droves and vote for him then.

I knew him, but not well. We shared an interest in cats, good food and lovely ladies. He dropped by every once in a while to talk about them. He always seemed like a very nice guy and turned me on to some good restaurants. He really promoted "The Garden" - the one on a small soi between Thapae Road and Loi Kroh. Nice people and descent food at a reasonable price.

Dave 2 is a top bloke and made a sizeable contribution a few years ago to help on a project i was doing to help a couple of disabled ladies refurbish their house....Thanks again  and good luck Dave

dave2 is currently on 43.68 so he should get thru to the next round OK.

Please remember that those who have already voted have only voted to get dave2 thru to that next round.  When the final poll opens we ALL need to get on line and vote again plus of course all the other CM posters/voters.

It looks like Dave2 is a shoe-in for the Finals, so if you haven't voted yet in this preliminary round, why not throw your vote to EvenStevens, so we can represent two sides of Chiang Mai life (the living and the dead) in the final poll?

No it's quite dry here  but I did see some pigs flying over the pink elephants in the corner of the spirit house.

NancL, evenstevens and scottiejohn on the same topic and actually supporting each other.  It must be either April 1st or  we have all gone POTTY!

 

PS;  It just goes to show that a good cause can unite and bring out the good in all of us!
