Anyone Selling A BMW 2009 318i or 325i?

Featured Replies

Esteemed gentlemen of the motor forum,

I am looking to buy a 2009/2010 318i or 325i BMW, preferably dark or grey color, less than 100k kms on the clock. Does anybody here own one and wants to sell it, or know someone that knows someone...? Or could someone make a recommendation for a reliable dealer that doesn't charge an outrageous commission for farang?

I have looked around quite a bit in bangkok, but some of the dealer cars I have seen are not trustworthy, either the clock has been reset or the service history is dodgy...I suppose some may even had a minor accident at some point...

PM me

Thanks a lot

Thank you Sir. I do know how to search for BMWs myself, though :)

I was asking if anyone could recommend a TRUSTWORTHY dealer that isn't trying to rip me a new <deleted>. Plus, I'd prefer to buy through contacts, not really from dealers for reasons I explained in the original post.

Fair enough... Many of the sellers on one2car.com are private (my car is currently for sale on there).

I agree with avoiding the second hand dealers who are simply attempting to gouge the customer for as much as they can.

You are likely to get a similar level of trust with any private seller, Thai or Foreigner, but by excluding Thai's you are severely limiting your choice. After all, this forum remains anonymous.

Many would allow the car to be tested at a local dealer... (for a fee of course).

Personally... for a car out of warranty I would not have any issues if a potential buyer wanted to have my car checked over by a garage. A friend has agreed to this in the past and agreed to have any potential issues accounted for in the negotiation.. i.e. potential costs of any fixes subtracted from the agreed price.

I would definitely get the 2.5 if  price isn't the deciding factor.... Depends on your journeys though... If you stay in city all the time you won't gain much from a bigger engine in traffic jams except more expensive fuel bills but if you like to drive outside or distances I'd go for the bigger one... :)

Get the 320d instead. Much lower gas mileage, and much better low RPM torque, that fits Thai roads much better.

I would check this website from time to time as they have BMWs which were farang owned. Nice 2012 320i on there now, 25,000km and asking 945,000 baht.
