Video - Image Lost

Hello.

I have a serious problem about video sessions on my computer.

Whatever the source, I have sound but no images. I tried already seral CODECS but nothing changed.

Does anyone have any idea?

Operating system? Type of files tried? Do embedded (youtube) videos work? Graphics card? Did you make any system changes before this started?

My OS is windows XP Service pack 2.

I checked on Youtube and it is working fine. But if I try on CCN, it does not work.

When I try a .wmv file, it is not working.

I have no idea at all about the graphic card: the machine is a Toshiba laptop.

It seems certain Toshibas have had alot of complaints about video problems. If you still have the drivers cd that should have came with the laptop I'd re-install them, or failing that go to Toshiba's website and get the drivers from there.
