latest date for 90 day report

Featured Replies

Hi, just a quick question.

My next 90 day report is due on January 1st. I'm assuming that the latest date I can report would be 8th January as 7 days either side of 1st January is allowed. Just wanted to confirm that in case the rules have changed.

Thanks

It would be the 7th because they include the report date in the 7 days when they count them.

Thanks Joe, that's essential information.

7 days either side is not the general rule however.  The rule for in person reporting is:

The notification must be made within 15 days before or after 7 days the period of 90 days expires

Their open every day next week, why leave it until the last minute.

It would be the 7th, but that falls on a Sunday so your last day would actually be the 5th.

I'm going Dec 25th for my 90 day report as the tourists thinks it's closed on Christmas.

But when did tourists start doing 90 day reports?  Although might decrease initial queue in Bangkok if arriving at start of business.

Yes, the queue here on Samui will be gone, the sign that this queue is for long term residents is in front so the tourists don't see nor will they care.
