Only stupids would believe he is the real thing because there is never a Thai police that speaks English!

Shows how little you know, there are quite a few.

What does a typical Russian look like?

Like Ivan Drago

Hmmmm a bit like the BiB checkpoints in Chiang Mai.

About 4 days before Xmas they ceased operation. But were back in action on Xmas day....good pickings by the looks of it when I rode by.

Didn't really see any enforcement going on....just revenue gathering. But with the dreadful weather today...guess what. No checkpoints again.

Makes one wonder if the cops up here are also 'fake'

They said that he claimed to be a cop, extorts money and steals from tourists.

How is this different than a Thai policeman?

Well, in this case, I'm rooting for the BIB to nail this thieving <expletive deleted> ASAP!  tick-tock... tick-tock...

By the way, the REAL policemen who pull foreigners over to steal their money are back at it on Theppraya across from Country Road Bar.

A dick head in any country I suggest

Yearrr, ...  I love his Terminator Sun Glasses !!!

Now they have some kind of competition...

They will get into action, wiping out the competitor(s) !!!

Stealing, extorting, scamming: a job reserved for Thai only !!!

Ha, police just jealous he's working their patch. Seriously though, it's been done in other countries with success probably because the ordinary person is unfamiliar with real ID's versus fake one's.

Seems British or Australian. Let us see who is he ....

Sorry, but if he's stealing from Chinese tourists, he's not a scumbag: he's my new hero!

haha, really convincing. that he's successful probably says a lot about the type of people in pattaya.

..definitely a fraudster..he's wearing white socks with black shoes.

Real police or a scumbag as him if you get stop and get a fine just  say you want to pay your fine in a police station

When a Thai cop, do as the Thai cops do.

He don't like used underwear and credit card from Farangs.

All Chinese carry good amount of cash and gold, must be good catch. Also don't bother to ask back questions in English too. :sleepy:

You've got to be having a laugh.

If he does flee the the country, with a pending warrant, he certainly won't be the first !

Ask Yingluck about that...

Yingluck with hand signal.jpg

He looks like a western man , not easy to think nationality here based on that face.

Anyway he is a scammer and a low life scum living on this planet .

If I see him I will punch his face.

How can they issue a warrant of they don;t know his name??

Wrong breed of pig at the trough!

There are many Farlangs in Thailand now, total losers in their own countries that will beg, steal, borrow or do anything to remain in the country. Pattaya seems to draw them in like a magnet.

The police need to do a purge and clear them out.

This guy is brilliant! Just coping what normal Thai cops do every day but can actually talk to them before he rips them off!

The head of Pattaya police has said that a foreign man is riding around Pattaya on a motorcycle posing as a Thai policeman.

A motorcycle posing as a Thai police man? That's not a thing is it?

If he doesn't look thai you would call his bluff, but to chinese tourists we all look the same.
