Aussietraveller Posted June 4, 2007 Share Posted June 4, 2007 Sydney (dpa) Thai-born Plarm Pongprom learned Monday that she had won her six-year battle to stay in Australia with her adoptive parents. Pongprom, 15, was adopted by her Australian grandparents after she was dumped by her parents in the Philippines when she was 9. Grandfather Ken Ritchie said Pongprom was ecstatic because her long wait for permanent residency was over.
