Border runs.

My Cambodian g/f has just returned from a visa run to the ban pakard border, it's her second one this month and the stamp in her passport has a date stamp in red both on the departure card and on passport page. Never seen this before, is it possible it's saying that's the last time you can do this in out run? I thought Cambodians could do as many 14 days in - out as they like. She normally gets a 30 day extension on her 60 day tourist visa but had Jomtien wanted her to fill in a TM 30 form this time and wanted 1600 bht fine, never had this before in 6 years of getting a 30 day extension.

I am not sure I would be concerned by the stamps being in red. Perhaps that is the only color the officer had.

Jomtien has gotten strict on the TM30 requirement. Been that way for some time now though.

Thanks Joe, we go back to Cambodia at the end of her current stamp, return a week later with 60 day visa on a Saturday, should we go to Jomtien on Monday and fill in the TM 30, and will it be free?

If you go on Monday there should not be a fine imposed since it is the first day they are open.
