December 30, 20178 yr How long until the backtrack on this one ? One day ? One Week ? One month ? It won't last just like all the other crazy ideas this government has introduced. It's almost like the PM has no control or oversight over his ministers / departments - I really suspect he doesn't - they're all competing for column inches in the press. Edit - we could be talking hours, not days before the backtrack here. Edited December 30, 20178 yr by ukrules
December 30, 20178 yr Will it stops all the phone calling scams and cheating by gangs of local and foreign criminals? will it stop the smugglings of sim cards from Cambodia? I have been scammed out of money by bunch of African married to local women, I gave the police their mobile numbers they used and guess what? nothing was done about it, I wait until the authorities will ask for DNA samples with every sim sold...
December 30, 20178 yr Can't see this one working at all. If you think about the people who have SIM cards and from the looks of the last paragraph trying to get them all to register by October would alone be a logistical nightmare. And lets be honest if some one wanted to not have theirs registered you have just opened up a new black-market SIM card opportunity. I am agreeing with ukrules on this not long till rollback. I would hate to think the 12million cards in use in BKK trying to be back registered.
