A double-decker bus crashed into a roadside stall in Phitsanulok on Tuesday morning. The driver and his father, the only people on board, were slightly injured.

Police were at the scene on Phitsanulok-Nakhon Sawan Road in Ban Wang Ped, Bang Rakham district, soon after at 9am.

The bus, with an Uttaradit licence plate, crashed into the unoccupied vendor’s stall after taking 44 passengers to Bangkok’s Mor Chit 2 Bus Terminal.

Driver Dolwat Poomcha, 32, said the brakes had malfunctioned and he’d lost control of the vehicle.

He and his 68-year-old father were slightly injured and taken to Naresuan University Hospital.

Steering wheel malfunctioned at the same  time too?

Edited by speedtripler

I just realized why there are so many brake malfunctions.

The drivers are not using the brake pedal on the floor.

In their panic they are squeezing the steering wheel like the hand breaks on their scooters. :cheesy:

The Land of most Brake Failures in The World per capita

That is not how to get quicker service.

what pees me off, is the toy town cops never seem to follow up on these so called brake failures, any other country there would be a ministry of transport check of the vehicle. any one know do they have one here, ?if so what do they do? seeing as the big CHIEF  is in charge, maybe he can sort it out, that, he seems to have his finger in every other pie

Wait till father and son get the bill for the repair of the 'lean-to' shop AND the bill from the bus company for a new bus unless they can prove brake failure !
