How much can you make selling cosmetics in Big C?

Featured Replies

You know those little stalls in the middle of the walkway, crammed full with creams and lipsticks and powders.  Not in the actual Big C supermarket but in the same building, near the banks and Swensens etc.

A girl I know has just moved into a 14,000 a month condo.  She sends 5,000 home a month as well.  19,000 a month even before the rent of the stall and food and daily living expenses?  Is it possible selling make-up?

To avoid the usual posts, let's assume a couple of things:  1.) she's not a whore on the side.  2.) she's not trying to obtain money from me.  I know that goes against everything Thaivisa members stand for, but humour me.

She'd probably only need to make B1,000 profit per day to be ahead of the game and the number of potential customers in that area would probably cover that easily.  Probably.

she buys cosmetics 20 thb and sell them 200 to idiots, so it's possible.

If she is Beautiful  and light skinned so that the "peasants" want to look like her  than maybe she can make some money ,

but if she is Dark skinned  and  just normal looking it will be hard ,  unless its a known name brand and advertised a lot

Look at the Facebook ads ,  The models do not look like most Thais so it works selling "Dreams"
