Lady Slipper Vine. Thunbergia Mysorensis

Featured Replies

Hi All,

I have been searching everywhere for a vine called Thunbergia Mysorensis  or (Indian Clock Vine /Lady Slipper Vine) but are yet to find a source here in Thailand .

I came across this vine when I was at a resort in Bandung (Indonesia) and have found it originates from Mysore in India .Do any of you guys here know of anywhere in Thailand I could get some of these plants?

Would be very much appreciated ,

Most nurseries will order any plant you need from Bangkok.

Ask your local nursery. Take the photo (a better photo is needed) and show them.

Thanks Karen for reply, I have taken a photo to many nurseries around Bangkok ,Nakhon Nayok area and haven't had any luck.

Might I suggest an alternative?

Not common, but, available is the Bleeding Heart vine (Clerodendrum Thomsoniae). Use Google images for picture of the flowers.
