Another cold week predicted for most parts of the country except the South

 

 

People in most parts of the country with the exception of the southern region will experience another round of cold weather for the whole week starting on Monday, with the northeastern region being the first to be hit by the cold front from China.

 

The Thai Meteorological Department forecast that the northeastern provinces will experience after which temperature will start to drop between 4-6 degrees Celsius as the high pressure from China sets in.

 

Then the cold weather will spread to the other regions but the mercury will drop between 3-5 degrees Celsius and the cold front will remain throughout the week before the weather will warm again after January 14.

Some good news at last that doesn't revolve around luxury watches, puppies, road carnage, greedy monks, incompetent police officers, drunk celebrities, white schlongs, tiny dongs, Yingluck, her brother and other assorted everyday tales that usually grip the nation to a larger or lesser extent.  

Keep promising cooler weather , but the last two weeks were too hot for January. Today it felt more like a clouded humid day in August . Aircon on again.

Can we be sure nothing has been missed?

My advice is make the most of it while it lasts.

The hot season is not too far away

That's good, I was beginning to think winter was over early & we were straight into the hot season.....

I love it when the weather comes from China.

There they go again with the cold weather statement. It is just cooler.

Well, it isn't happening yet. 33 centigrade at home in Udon Thani. Aircon on.

Well, it's not coming today, 33 degrees and humid in Isaan at the moment, hopefully tomorrow. All the foreigners will be happy again, and all the Thais will be hunched up blowing into their hands and stamping their feet like Siberian peasants fighting their way through snowy forests in a  blizzard.
