Lease Of House 30+30

Recommended Posts

There is lots of discussion in this section just go back into the postings a few weeks.

The bottom line is that your lease is good for 30 years. That is the maximum recognized/accepted by the Land Office. This lease is binding upon heirs and successors, i.e. if the owner dies or the land is sold the lease must be respected.

The 2nd 30 years is a personal agreement between you and the land owner and must be registered by both of you at the Land Office 30 years from now.

As it is a personal agreement, in essence a promise, it is not binding on anyone else.

very good info at www.samuiforsale.com
