Do I still need a ticket out of Thailand for a tourist visa form Savannakhet?

 

I was under the impression that you do

 

But on this Thread there is people saying it's a flight out OR proof OR 20000THB in the bank not both.

I've just booked a flight but I have 24 hours to pay for it lol

 

This will be by 13th entry I think so maybe I better not take the risk but would still like to know. I can always quickly buy one if I get refused then try again on the same day.
