cms22
Hello everyone, and thank you in advance for any advice. I have a mid-2014 Macbook Pro. Excellent condition (apart from speakers). I need to change to a Windows machine for work. I need some advice. 1. Should I repair the speakers before I look to sell the Macbook Pro? Is it worth it? 2. Where would be the best place to sell the Macbook Pro? Any ideas? Pantip? Thank you so much! Cheers. C
Somtamnication
Why not install Parallels? Run both.
Caps
as per the above, the Mac Pro is still a good macine and will run both, there are programmes out there to do it https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201468 Edited January 20, 2018 by Caps
lemonjelly
yes, you can use a program called Bootcamp, it installs a windows operating system alongside your mac operating system on your hard drive, each time when you start the computer you choose which one you want to use.Sent from my iPhone using Thaivisa Connect
Sapporillo
I have the same model, and I have Windows installed on it (in Bootcamp). I almost never use it, but it runs fine. All you need is a Windows license, you could give it a try. Do you know how much it will cost to fix the speakers? If you have a quote from an Apple dealer, it will be better for negotiating the sale, if you don’t get it fixed.
fullofmax
I just bought the newest MBP 2017 and run 90% windows on it.
dreytom
Try to find a shop that can replace the speakers first. Going to Apple center will cost you more.
