IT shop in BKK to update my windows 10?

I cannot install the recent Creators update from Windows 10, because I have too little disk space. Even if I remove every downloaded program and every photo/document/file, I still can get only 8,5 GB of free space. Even though Windows tells me they only need 5 GB to do the job, I still get the "not enough disk space" error.

So I tried with a clean 32 GB USB stick to download the update there.

It just doesn't work. I know nothing about computers and apparently I am in way over my head.

My question: does anybody know a reputable shop somewhere in Bangkok where I can have this update done?

I could just go to Pantip or Fortune and ask the first guy that I see to do it, but I have no idea of the price for these things, and I would like to avoid viruses or spyware.

Any recommendations? Thanks!

I'd first suggest you google your device and see if other's are having similar issues and what they've done to overcome them.  Some early adopters of Windows 10 have found their small-memory devices can't be updates, as either the device isn't compatible with later versions of Win 10, or memory issues prevent the upgrade/update from functioning correctly.

You might be able to find a user forum dedicated to your specific device that has a running Windows 10 update thread. Otherwise try the manufacturer website.

A great free program called windirstat, to help sort out disk space problems, scan the disk and it brings up a graphicial representation of your disk, showing what is using the space.

Also just using file explorer, search for files over a certain size, 5 gb etc, will often bring up a long forgotten vid, backup, temp files thats using space.

You have a space problem not an update problem, the only thing a shop can do is delete things.

That is only partly true. What I would do, and any good technician should be able to do, is temporary move files to somewhere else. I.e. lot of program files, maybe Outlook .pst files, etc. can be move temporary to an external disk or stick. Then the update can be done, because that update needs temporarily a lot of space on drive C. And after the update is completed and the old Windows files are cleaned up with Disk Clean-Up, then the original files can be restored to their original locations and then life can continue as normal.

My pc is an Asus E200HA. Only 32GB of storage.

I know it is a storage space problem. I used Clean Up and some other program to dump everything I don't need. I also dumped Dropbox, Office, etc...  The most space I can reclaim is 8,5GB. Maybe there are other things I can delete, like DIFX, Intel, Common files, Qualcom,... but I don't know if my pc needs them to keep functioning.

Anyway, I read somewhere that the new Windows update really needs almost 20GB to upgrade, so I am basically forced to update using an external storage device.

I've found instructions on the internet to update using a clean USB-stick (32GB), but I always run into error messages that I cannot fix.

I really think having this done for me is the way to go.

Any recommendations on a reputable shop?

Are you sure that you have removed old versions of Windows 10 using the Disk Clean-up utility?

In addition, you should remove any Windows 10 installation files that have been automatically downloaded to your machine in order to effect the update.

Then you need to update using the Media Creation Tool; http://microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10 or by utilising it to create installation media on your shiny new 32 GB USB drive

As a last resort, you can back up and then remove your Recovery Partition.

https://www.asus.com/support/FAQ/1008642/

Similarly, you can do a Reset to Factory and then back up and then remove the recovery partition.

...or you can simply run a clean install of the latest edition of Windows 10.

What you shouldn't do, is hand it over to someone else to do it for you, as you'll have no control over what the will install.
