Help!

I am on a VOA, which I need to renew tomorrow, this will be my 2nd VOA, which is running off the back of a B visa. What I need to know, if I get a 3rd VOA (Feb), can I then go to Laos or somewhere before it expires (March) to get a 60day tourist visa which will take me to May when the UK should have warmed up! to get another B class visa. Or do I need to make my next visa the 60day one, then get a extention? - Think I have answered my own question.

I would not put off getting what is available now (a tourist visa) on the hope that it will still be available later. The bird in the hand.....
