Now the chief has called on the runaway wife to give herself up citing damage to tourism in Thailand.

'damage to tourism' is Way Beyond it's sell-by date; why not just attach 'national security' to it also ?

So it was the spirits that drove him into action  not the fact it was murder case. I think his statement will do more to damage tourism than the murder case.:saai:

Used to happen to me a lot years ago when Katherine Zeta Jones would be heard wailing in my dreams ''Take me darling, take me''.    Lol.

Well she's been 'taken'.  Isn't she married to Michael Douglas?!!!!

In the article today the French chap is called Hamouri.  Yesterday he was called Amaury Rigaux.

"He called on her to do the right thing even mentioning the damage of the case to the tourism of Thailand, according to Sanook."

The only damage to tourism is that tourists understand that the BiB are as much use as a chocolate fireguard, and if they encounter a problem, they're on their own.

Transliteration. Mistakes like these are hard to avoid when you transcribe letters from one alphabet into the corresponding letters of another.

This is what passes for professional law enforcement here????

P:erhaps he's spending too much time napping, and not out looking for the killers.

But hey, anything that will get them off their duffs and doing their job I guess can be considered a good thing...

I thought these spooky kind of things could only happen between Thais. Didn’t know ‘farangs’ could get involved.

Anway, I’m just glad to see such a professional police chief. If I were the police chief and had a dream like this, I’d keep it to myself. Knowing it’s just a dream and it means nothing, there’d be no need to make it public other than wanting the attention......oh, right.

the victim was appealing to the police to get a move on and get justice by finding those responsible.

Wonder how he recognised the victim in the dream. Did he appear carrying his own leg?

Actually what appears in our dreams means a good deal

Sure, it does. But in this case, as with most things in life, they mean nothing.

The dreams were weird coming to him two nights in a row and he took it as a sign that the victim was appealing to the police to get a move on and get justice by finding those responsible.

An appeal for a psychiatric evaluation of this CHIEF OF POLICE would be more appropriate.

555.... he’s justifying the practice of sleeping on duty, as a means of crime frighting / solving.

if not for his dreams, where the dead man appeals to him for justice,  One might conclude that his department would be doing less about it.... so carry on sleeping, that’ll git er dun!

Every day I feel more and more like an adult trapped in a country of children. Good job my wife is sensible.
