Can an Aussie apply for a tourist visa from Hungary?

Featured Replies

Hi,

Just want to know if an Aussie can apply for a tourist visa from some country other than Australia, and if so have the following questions:

- do I/should I take it in personally to the thai embassy?

- how long will it take? I only have ten days, and might need my passport before then

- is they a checklist of information required?

- any tips/tricks?

Thanks so much ?

It seem you can apply in the embassy in Budapest since it states this "For non-Hungarian citizens, 3 months bank statement is required".

See: http://www.thaiembassy.org/budapest/th/services/17195-วีซ่า.html

If you want to check some other embassies and official consulates there is a link button for their websites. See: http://www.thaiembassy.org/main/

You can apply in some countries. It is impossible to give a list of requirements as the rules are different for each consulate. Postal applications are accepted at some consulates, but you must be in the country you are applying.

The Royal Thai Embassy at Budapest, has all necessary informations from visas, on the internet. You can call them in working hours,  for further informations, there are staff who is speaking english perfect.
