Stray dogs menacing Kratinglai Beach

PATTAYA:--Tourists are complaining about packs of stray dogs creating a menace on Kratinglai Beach.

Beach-goers claim that as many as 100 wild dogs can be found on the shore, some of them which viciously chase people.

Visitor Ladda Kerdsuriyon said Kratinglai is one of her favorite getaway spots, as it offers lots of shade and was recently redeveloped.

However, the view is being spoiled by the threat posed by stray dogs, she said. She blames people who adopt cute puppies and then dump them on the beach when they grow up.

In addition to the threat from being bitten, the dogs have left behind smelly piles of waste everywhere and no one is cleaning it up.

She called on local authorities to send the dog catchers to the beach.

all over Thailand.  The dogs are feral with no owners until one gets injured by a farang and then there's an unseemly scrum to claim ownership.

Actually I ran over one in Hua Hin.

Totally my fault.  The owners were there and I offered them 5000 b.

They declined with: No, it just Hma.

Thai for dog.

Kill them all it's the only way

If can track and trace all foreigners their exact whereabouts in Thailand, then why is rounding up stray dogs complicated?

Where exactly is this beach?

If you give the name to Google you get a nice map and some info - Its really easy.
