Overstay & 30 days extension on 60 days tourist visa

Featured Replies

I was going to do my 30 days extension at Chang Wattana in Bangkok, but I'm currently on 3 days overstay. Is it still possible to do the extension at Chang Wattana and pay the 3 days overstay fee there?

I'm on a 60 days tourist visa. What are the new rules regarding this?

Thank you.

The will still do the extension with 3 days of overstay after you pay the 1500 baht overstay fine.

No new rule for it. Been the same for some time now.

Also be aware your 30 day extension will be dated from the date your previous permission to stay expired, so in effect you'll only be given another 27 days to stay.
