Non-Immigrant B Local Thai Guarantor Query

Featured Replies

Hi all,

Coming to Bangkok for Business meetings throughout 2018.  Do I need a local guarantor in Thailand.  I have letters of invitations from various companies.  I am an Australian, obtaining my B Visa in Yangon.

Thanks

I am representing a company in Myanmar.

You may be able to get a visa there. Probably best if the company contacts the embassy to confirm what the requirements are.

A guarantor here is not normally required to get a visa.

I have checked your link.  Thankyou very much.  As I have no-one to vouch for me can I put self as guarantor and show financials if required?

I am certain they will want supporting documents from the company in Myanmar to issue the visa.

The list on the embassy is shorter than others.  Look at 2.1 (2) here. http://www.mfa.go.th/main/en/services/4908/15388-Non-Immigrant-Visa-"B"-(for-Business-and.html
