Could someone please enlighten?

Are you supposed to fill in a tax return in Thailand when working and getting a salary? And pay taxes according to that?

Or your employer will pay for you and deduct from your monthly salary?

Your income taxes will be deducted from your pay by your employer and paid to the revenue department.

At the end of the year they will you will be given a earnings statement showing your income and the amount of taxes paid on it. Then you need to file a annual income tax return by March 31st.
