Orton Rd
6 mins of video on a 16 gig card from camera. Tried all the YT and google stuff, it's either pay which it's not that important for, or free stuff which does not work. I did not put anything else on the card after. Some of the pay stuff does find it, I tried free one Recuva but that could not see it.
RichCor
Doesn't Recuva have an advanced detection mode that needs to be selected?
dave_boo
I've used photorec on Linux to great success. They also have a Windows version. Note that it will want to dump the files on a separate drive to keep the integrity of as many of the original files as possible. https://www.cgsecurity.org/wiki/PhotoRec

Make sure you read the manual before you start.
