geovalin
Prime Minister Hun Sen delivered a fiery speech yesterday, threatening to “attack” members of the opposition with Soviet-era rocket launchers, while also claiming he would arrest them anywhere in Asia. “Please, don’t have hope. I just want to tell you, don’t force someone to put nails in your coffin. If it’s in the court’s hands, it’s another issue, but if it is a secession issue, the BM-21 can be used to attack your area,” the premier told a group of students at the Institute of Technology of Cambodia, referring to a Russian-made truck-mounted rocket battery. The country’s only viable opposition party, the Cambodia National Rescue Party, was dissolved in the run-up to this year’s highly anticipated national elections. The move was condemned by the international community as transforming Cambodia into a one-party dictatorship, with former opposition leader Sam Rainsy launching a new “movement” in response this week. http://www.phnompenhpost.com/national/dont-come-near-asia-hun-sen-threatens-roll-out-rocket-launchers-against-rainsy-and-his -- © Copyright Phenom Pen Post 02/

spidermike007
Hun Sen himself is the mafia in Cambodia. He is a money grubbing, power hungry, land grabbing multi billionaire, who stops at nothing to maintain his power, and amass more fortune. In addition, his resume includes many years as a commander in the Kymer Rouge, where he engaged in serial killing. Quite a leader. He is getting old, and is paranoid. His personal security detail numbers over 5,000 men. There are countless people who want him dead. His concerns about the Chinese are well founded. They are buying up Cambodia at a shocking pace. They are the primary investor in the country, at this stage. And as is always the case with the Chinese government, their intentions are less than honorable. In the near future they will have as much control over Cambodia, as they will with Australia. Same is taking place there. Both countries will lose control eventually, and will become Chinese colonies. It is inevitable.
