Fatty shoplifter runs out of puff as shopper makes citizen's arrest

An overweight shoplifter made a dash for it after he was caught thieving in a Sri Racha department store yesterday.

 

Thief Thanin Wetpanich, 34, ran from the fourth floor to the first but was soon caught and the police were called.

 

The cops found Thanin sweating profusely as the good Samaritans held on amid some kerfuffle, reported Daily News.

 

Thanin was found to be in possession of a stapler, a pack of staples and some lanyards he admitted taking from the IT section of the store.

"kerfuffle" had to google that one....

Maybe taking some roller skates might have been a quicker escape option.!!!!

That would be some trick, he started his escape on the 4th floor !  

Looks about right for an immediate police job. Right look, right frame of mind. This guy will go far....(not by running obviously)

The stores need their own security guards for this shit.  The cops should be out on the roads bringing down the death toll.  Oh, that’s right, this is Thailand, Budda takes care of it. 

I can remember when a fat Thai was a rarity.  Now it seems a requirement to get into the police force.

Did he get the Max- imun fine. 

Feel a bit sorry for the guy if he couldn't afford a stapler, however I don't condone stealing. Hopefully a caution suffices
