I was gifted with 2  swans age 2 months, have a pond on our property and want to know when they can be put in the pond.

Probably about 2 months ago. They will certainly be good to go now, just put them by the water and watch, they will go in if they're ready.

 

EDIT According to this page https://www.swanlife.com/baby-swans cygnets get their first swim with mum and dad on day two. Yours must be itching to go by now 

 

Roasted swan is a major delicacy, reportedly better than goose.

 

I could sit for hours watching swans swimming effortlessly back and forth. Beautiful birds.
